Vickie Jean Lamb passed away November 29, 2017, at the George E. Wahlen Veterans Home in Ogden, UT, with family at her side. She was born February 14, 1949, in Ogden, UT. She grew up in Ogden and graduated from Ben Lomond High School. She married James Ronald Lamb in Ogden, UT, on February 21, 1969.

She resided in the Ogden area most of her life except in her travels to Japan while supporting her husband in his military assignments. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a loving mother and always thinking of others.

Vickie was very crafty, she enjoyed: knitting, crocheting, toll painting and cross stitch. She enjoyed puzzle books and reading. She had a fiery personality and was very friendly and sociable. She loved country music and dancing.

She is survived by her husband, James; daughters: Heather Hartley (Adam), Heidi Quattlebaum (Ricky); two grandchildren: Blu and Texie Quattlebaum; siblings: Holly Ann Manning (Jeff) and Ray Dean DeHart (Dawna).

The family would like to thank Bristol Hospice the George E. Wahlen Veteran's Home, all of their employees for helping us and loving our mother as much as we do.

The family will honor her life with a graveside service on Friday, December 8, 2017, at 1 p.m. at the Roy City Cemetery 2298 W. 5200 South, Roy, UT. A Celebration of Life Reception will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. at the George E. Wahlen Veterans Home, 1102 N. 1200 West, Ogden, UT.

Arrangements entrusted to Provident Funeral Home-Ogden, UT.
